While I’m normally hired for birth support, sometimes families are interested in having their birth or portions of the process documented. I absolutely adore birth photography and lifestyle photos for the raw emotion they capture and the stories they tell! Most of these photos were from the first birth I photographed. The family wanted a photographer who could document their planned cesarean. I was so honored and excited for this opportunity and loved every second spent documenting these moments for this beautiful family. Here are just a few out of the hundreds of gems I was able to capture. I may have gotten a little carried away.
Since then, I have been able to capture hundreds of photos for many other families, from the labor, to the birth, the first hold, and the first hour with their new babies. Thank you for inviting me to witness these beautiful births, still these memories, and for allowing me to share.
